Day 01 : Drive Lucknow to Nepalgunj (195 kms / 4 hours)

To start your chartered flight trip for Kailash Mansarovar aerial darshan, today you will reach Nepalgunj from Lucknow in an airconditioned vehicle with other group travellers. The departure time from Lucknow to Nepalgunj is 09.00 AM . The 4-5 hour drive through a busy road will bring you to Rupariah border via Bahraich. On reaching India-Nepal border get down for border checking and clearance formalities. After crossing the Indian check post, stop again in Nepal side for clearance, luggage checking and vehicle permit formalities, which sometime takes more than expected time.

In Nepalgunj a comfortable room stay will be organised in a five star equivalent hotel on sharing basis. A dedicated tour manager from Nepal Expedition N Package Tours will receive the group in Lucknow and a team of experienced tour guides from Nepal Expedition N Package Tours will be available for a briefing of the trip in Nepalgunj and the group members can also discuss with them about the significance of the holy Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. Day 02 : Enjoy mountain flight for Mt. Kailash darshan

Early in the morning the guide and his team will organise group transfer from hotel to Nepalgunj airport where the chartered flight (Bombardier aircraft) will be waiting for you for the Kailash Mansarovar aerial darshan trip. It is to be noted that the flights here are completely weather dependent and if weather is not favourable for the flight to take off, short or long delay is possible. The group members will have to wait at the airport. Nepalgunj airport is very small and there is hardly any facility available apart from a small restaurant inside the airport.

Once the flight gets clearance from air traffic control (ATC) and it takes off from Nepalgunj airport the trip will last for about an hour or more. You will get mesmerizing darshan of holy Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar from the window of your flight while flying over the mountains near Nepal-Tibet border. The view of mountain and lake from the flight is completely subject to clear weather. After holy darshan the flight will return to Nepalgunj airport and a comfortable transfer from Nepalgunj airport to the hotel will be organised by Nepal Expedition N Package Tours team for the group. Breakfast, Lunch and free time in the hotel.

In the evening the group visit to Bageshwori Temple (Shakti Peeth) will be organised by the guide.
